The Corn and Apple Festival: Fourth Weekend in August

The Corn and Apple Festival offers fun and excitment for whole family. The young one's will love the children's area. The grown ups will enjoy the Main and Old Tyme Music Stages. Both young and old will want to watch the parade, the Wonder Shows Midway, the vendor displays, not to mention the Pembina Paintball Tournament, Farmers Market, Mud Racing, Morden's Mighty Man Competition and FREE corn and apple cider. The Back Forty Festival: First Sunday in June

The Back Forty Festival was the brainchild of some local musicians in an effort to "Keep Homemade Music Alive" in Southern Manitoba. The Festival is held in Morden Park on the first Sunday in June and features an excellent blend of local and Manitoba musicians. This family oriented Festival includes a Craft Village and children's activities with various stations including Morden's Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre. A one day event 11 a.m. - dusk. Morden Festival of the Arts: March & April

The Morden Festival of the Arts has been an important event for the community of Morden for over 30 years. It has grown to be one of the largest arts festivals in the province. The main objective of the festival is to foster and promote continued interest, growth and development of talent within the arts. The Festival takes place throughout March & April each year.

Canada Day: July 1st

The Canada Day Beach Blast is organized by the Town of Morden at Lake Minnewasta's Colert Beach. Activities include live musical entertainment, a magician, balloon creations, face painting and a huge Fireworks Display choreographed by the Morden Fire Department. Admission is charged and funds are used for improvements to the beach and playground facilities. For more information, contact 822-4991.
