Festival programs are available at Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmasave, South Central Regional Library, and at all festival venues.

Admission:  $2.00 for adults - no charge for children.

Established in 1975, the Morden Festival of the Arts has grown to be one of the largest arts festivals in the province and continues to be an important event for the community of Morden.  The main objective of the Morden Festival is to foster and promote continued interest, growth and development of talent within the arts. The Festival does this by providing a venue for student performance and adjudication in the following disciplines, held throughout March and April:

  • StringsfESTIVAL OF THE aRTS
  • Piano
  • English and French Speech Arts
  • Vocal/Choral
  • Band

The Hi-Lites Concert is the grand finale of the festival and showcases performances which have been recommended by the adjudicators of each discipline.

Registration for the Morden Festival of the Arts takes place at the beginning of each new year. Registration is done through the students’ private teachers or in person at the local schools.   Registration forms can also be submitted by mail.  Forms are available on our website at:  http://mordenfestivalofthearts.cfsites.org/

Announcements regarding Festival dates and registration deadlines are available through the schools’ monthly newsletters, the local newspapers and local radio stations.

The Morden Festival is a non-profit volunteer-driven organization that strives to encourage high levels of participation by keeping entry fees as low as possible. The generous financial support of many individuals, businesses and organizations is vital to the continuing growth of the Festival.
