Attend a Council Coffee Session
Council is present at Coffee Sessions at the Morden Friendship Centre on the third Friday of the month at 3:15 pm during the months of September to May. Everyone is welcome. Dates for the 2011/12 sessions are;

Attend an Open Forum
What is an Open Forum? It is an opportunity for the residents to speak with Council without the usual formalities and rules of a regular Council Meeting. The first Open Forum was held on November 1st, 2011. It was held at the Access Event Centre where a total of 24 people were present. Councilwill hold two Open Forums in 2012 and the dates are May 7th and November 5th. The following links will open a document which outlines the topics of discussion that took place at each event.

Attend a Council Christmas Tea
Council invites all residents to come to the annual Morden Council Christmas Tea which takes place on December 21st, 2011 at the Morden Civic Centre, in the Council Chambers between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to stop in for refreshements and open communication with Council. This is another opportunity for residents to meet with Council in a relaxed setting.
Make a presentation at a Council meeting
To book a time to speak at a council meeting on any topic, contact the Executive Assistant at 204-822-4434 –Ext 223 or tmorden@mordenmb.com . Attend a public hearing
Public hearings are held to get input on specific bylaws being considered by council. These hearings are advertised in the newspaper and on this website for at least two weeks before they occur. Anyone may attend and provide an opinion on the specific topic under discussion.
