RECYCLING TIPS
- Please clean all glass and plastic containers.
- Separate lids (No need to remove labels.)
- Flatten to save space.
- No strings or elastics.
- To help reduce litter escaping on windy days, you can put your paper items in a clear or blue bag - not grocery bags. You can also pack the paper tightly in your blue box (or other container no larger than a blue box, such as a cardboard box, large plastic container or tote), but to prevent it from blowing away you must ensure to put heavier items or another box on top. Putting your shredded paper in a full size see-through, tied, plastic garbage bag is best. The "no bags" policy means - do not put paper or any recycling into grocery store bags - all recycling must be put in either clear or blue bags that you can see through. The grocery store bags are recyclable and you can put them into the clear or blue bags.
- Blue Boxes - Please make sure your address is clearly marked on your box. Extra Boxes are available at the Morden Civic Centre.
