COMMUNITY CHAMPION WHO HELPED MAKE THIS SKATE PLAZA POSSIBLE
Wes Reimer, a teacher with Garden Valley School District is the champion of this fine project. He lives in Morden with his wife and three children. Over the past three years he has been working tirelessly to make his dream come true. Projects like this would not happen without someone in the community taking the lead. He formed the Morden Skatebaord Park Coalition, which is a group of parents and children who also shared his dream. His strong sense of community and dedication to helping the youth grow and learn is what kept him going, even when it seemed like it would never happen. Special thanks to this community champion for all that he has done to make this project a reality.
