Settlement Services
The Settlement Services office will help you settle in your new community. They offer assistance with document translation, completing child tax forms, registering children in school, getting a healthcare card, translation services with doctor appointments, finding housing and much more.

Learning English First
Finding work in Manitoba is not always easy even for people who are native to the province. For newcomers, it can be particiularly frustrating becuase many employers want their employees to have good English language skills and previous Canadian work experience. English As An Additional Language (EAL) classes can help improve your English.

Pembina Valley Language/Education for Adults (PVLEA)
The PVLEA provides full-time and part-time EAL (English As An Additional Language) and literacy classes. Call the Regional Connections office at 325-4059 for further details about class registration.

Job Preparation & Job Search Programs
Job presentation and job search programs help people define what skills they have, write resumes and cover letters, learn how to fill out job application forms, develop job interview skills, and find jobs. Regional Connections offers assistance and counselling for people legally entitled to work in Canada. Call them at 325-4059.
