New Youth Member on Council

Nolan Turnbull

Morden City Council was pleased to welcome Nolan Turnbull as the new Youth Member at his first Council Meeting on September 10th, 2012.

Nolan Turnbull is a 16 year-old Grade 11 student at Morden Collegiate Institute.  He lives in Morden with his parents Chris and Dean Turnbull and his brother Brendan.

Nolan has an interest in science and law.  He has lived in Morden for five years and volunteered with the Pembina Valley Humane Society, Morden Minor Hockey, Adopt a Highway and Adopt a Park organizations.

By serving on Council I hope to learn more about how local government works and be a voice for the youth in Morden,” said Nolan Turnbull – Youth Member on Council.

Nolan’s duties will be to represent the youth of Morden by attending all Council Meetings from September 10th, 2012 to August 31st, 2013.
