FLK Taoist Tai Chi

Taoist Tai Chi® is intended to return both body and mind to their original nature of goodness. Each step in the training is intended to help the spirt return to stillness, clarity and wisdom, and the body to a balanced, relaxed and healthy state. The best place to start is at the beginning! So new participants will normally sign up for a Beginner Class, where they will be introduced to the 108 movements of the Taoist Tai Chi® practice.

Grass Roots Movement Studio

Small personalized Pilates and wellness based exercise classes that can be customized to fit a groups specific requirements and needs. Classes could be geared for athletes, or for those dealing with injuries. Focus is on strengthening, stretching, body awareness, toning, tension release, and enjoying the class experience. Morden Achievers 4-H

Members pick projects of their choice to complete from Oct.-April. Anything from cooking, sewing, crafts, babysitting, mechanics, etc. Provided we have a leader to teach it. All members are asked to present a speech or visual in early spring. We also do some community help. Go curling,etc.

The Morden Friendship & Activity Centre always has lots going on. They have a meal program, fitness programs (line dance, zumba, yoga, pattern dance) and games (floor curling, bingo, bridge, cribbage, floor shuffle, snooker, whist).

Weekly program for children aged 10-17. The program offers basic curling skills, game strategy and the chance to play mini games throughout the year.Adult Programs

Morden Figure Skating Club

The Morden Figure Skating Club offers Can Skate, Group and Private figure skating lessons for all levels.
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program that teaches fundamental movements (go forward, go backward, stop, turn, spin and jump) and basic skills. The CanSkate Program emphasizes fun and continuous movement and is taught in a group lesson format. Sessions run October-March
StarSkate offers opportunities for skaters to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. This program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Sessions run October-March.

Morden Junior Rifle Club

Classes are every Tuesday from 7-9 pm. Students will spend one hour in the classroom and one hour will be spent on the range shooting and learning the safe handling of firearms. In spring students have the opportunity to write the exam to receive their Hunters Safety Certificate.

Morden Magics Gymnastics Club is the largest rural club in southern Manitoba. We offer boys & girls recreational gymnastics classes for age 4 & up as well as run women’s regional and provincial stream competitive gymnastics for ages 7+.

The primary purpose of the Morden Minor Hockey Association is to promote interest in a wholesome brand of hockey while fostering a healthy community spirit with all the members, supporters and teams involved in the MMHA.

The Morden Minor Baseball helps youngsters enjoy this favourite summer game! Volunteer coaches are dedicated to develop baseball players from the ages of four to eighteen in an environment of fair play, sportsmanship, and enjoyment for the game.

Morden Minor Soccer

Morden Minor Soccer Association (MMSA) is a volunteer based Youth Soccer Association dedicated to Kindergarten through Grade 10 youth. The leadership of the coaches and the Officials focuses on teaching solid soccer skills, sportsmanship and physical conditioning for all players. The program runs in August and September with a windup at the end of September

Pembina Hills Arts Council

Pembina Hills Arts Council offers a wide variety of visual arts programs including classes and workshops. Our after-school program, Art Academy, starts September 12, 2017. Sign up for one or more 6-week modules. Many other adult classes are offered throughout the year as well including pottery, painting and much more.

Ages: Registration is open to children from ages 6-15. Programs are subject to a minimum registration below which the age group may not be offered. Enrollment deadline is September 23.

The road turns to gravel, then follow the curve west for 0.8 km and turn right into the tract entrance. (Large overhead sign) The track is approximately 2 hours south west of Winnipeg. Riding Times are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:00 pm to sunset. Riding Fees are $10.00/day or $100.00 per season for adults. Under 16 years old the fees are $5.00 per day or $50.00 per season.

Special Olympics Manitoba

Special Olympics offers child and youth programs designed to help children with an intellectual disability develop basic motor and sport skills through fun and positive movement experiences. Special Olympics promotes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, enhance skills and create friendships.
Active Start (ages 2-6)– A family-centred activity program targeting children with an intellectual disability ages 2 to 6. Through the program, children learn basic motor skills such as walking, running, jumping, and throwing in a fun and safe environment.
FUNdamentals (ages 7-12)- A continuation of the Active Start program for young athletes with an intellectual disability ages 7 to 12. This program transitions from basic movement skills to basic sport and physical literacy skills while maintaining an atmosphere of fun and meaningful interaction.
