If you need to see a Doctor quickly, Agassiz Medical Centre located at 115-30 Stephen Street has walk-in clinics Monday to Friday, 11:30 am. to 7:30 p.m. Whenever you go to a clinic or emergency room you will be asked for your Manitoba Health Number.

The Boundary Trails Health Centre is a 94 bed acute care regional facility. Services included are Home Care, Public Health, Mental Health, Emergency, Ambulatory Care Clinics, Intensive Care, Observation, Diagnostics, Laboratory, Medical, Surgery, Day Surgery, Obstetrics, Chemotherapy, Dialysis, Rehab/Assess and Rehab Services OT/PT, Speech and Audiology. It is located at the Junction of Highways #3 & #14 between Morden and Winkler.

Emergency Medical Services
Emergency Medical Services are available 24 hours a day at the Boundary Trails Health Centre located at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 14 between Morden & Winkler. The Emergency Service should only be used in emergencies. Note: ambulance service is not covered by the government and could cost you more than $300. An ambulance should be called in life-threatening situations. Dial 911 if there is an emergency.

Residents can visit their family doctor for routine health visits and general health problems at Agassiz Medical Centre, a modern health facility located at Boundary Trails Place. Chiropractic Treatment in Manitoba is partially covered by Manitoba Health Insurance. Chiropractors charge a fee for the portion not covered by medicare. Autopac (MPI), Workers Compensation Board and Department of Veterans Affairs all cover 100% of the cost of chiropractic treatments and do not require a referral from a medical doctor. Dental care is not covered under Manitoba Health Insurance. The cost of dental care is usually covered through cash payment by the patient or through privately purchased dental insurance. SCCR receives community donations to provide support for cancer patients. The private organization has multiple programs in place to help with the burden of a cancer diagnosis.
- Transportation Program- Providing rides and helping clients that drive themselves to and from appointments and treatments.
- Skin Screening Program- No Doctor referrals necessary to check for skin cancer at their skin cancer clinics.
- Lymphedema Program- Helping with costs for treatment and sleeves along with resources for clients.
- Radon Program- Educating the local communities about the hazards of Radon in homes. Reimbursement is also available for lab testing fees.
- Wellness Program- Giving Clients an opportunity to learn and express what they have gone through with different classes offered throughout the year.
- Wig Room- Offering clients a large variety of wigs to rent.
