The Human Resources Department provides general and specialized services to the civic departments and boards in the areas of:
- Employment & Compensation – Acts as a central resource in the area of recruitment, diversity, classification, pay research and pension and benefits administration.
- Labour Relations –Provides timely and accurate advice and counsel to City Council and management on labour relations issues. Also provides effective collective bargaining with unions and associations representing civic employees.
- Occupational Health & Safety – Provides resources in health and safety to all of the departments as well as the boards and commissions within the City of Morden corporate structure.
- Organization & Employee Development –Provides direction and support to organization development initiatives. Assists departments to be effective and efficient through support in performance management, training and development, conflict resolution, team building, leadership and career development as well as succession planning.
