CYBF Partners With MordenCanadian Youth Business Foundation

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) is the 'go to' place for youth entrepreneurship. As a national charity, they are dedicated to growing the nations economy one young entrepreneur at a time. They look at character not collateral, when providing youth, age 18-34, with pre-launch coaching, business resources, start-up financing and mentoring, to help them launch and sustain a successful entrepreneurial business.

MCDC Partners with CYBF

On Tuesday, March 15th, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) welcomed the Morden Community Development Corporation, as its newest Community Partner. To celebrate this new partner's support of and dedication to assisting the CYBF in furthering youth entrepreneurship in Canada, an official launch event was held at the Morden Chiropractic Centre.

CYBF relies on its Community Partners (CP) to act as local representatives in their communities, to interact and work with budding entrepreneurs and take pride in making resources and programs available to existing and potential young business people. Not only do these essential groups help the CYBF recognize budding entrepreneurs and enlist the help of business leaders in the community to volunteer as mentors and serve on Loan Review Committees, the CP's work closely with the CYBF to keep young, passionate entrepreneurs from leaving Canadian cities and towns.

The Morden Community Development Corporation partnership will assist in providing start-up financing, top-notch mentoring by some of the areas finest professionals, first-rate resources and a chance for ambitious young people (ages 18 - 34) to develop and nurture their own business ventures in Morden and surrounding communities.

"Morden has become a hub for remarkable young entrepreneurs who have immigrated to Manitoba," says Joelle Foster, Director, CYBF Manitoba, Nunavut and Northwest Territories. "To have the Morden Community Development Corporation partner with CYBF indicates how dedicated they are to the next generation of future business leaders."

Morden joins the roster of the more than 100 CYBF Community Partners in cities and towns in all 13 provinces and territories from coast to coast to coast.
