DUTCH ELM DISEASE AND WHAT MORDEN IS DOING TO HELP

Morden’s larger American Elm trees, like those along Thornhill St, are estimated to be between 90 and 110 years old. These trees have the potential to live for roughly 100 more years as these towering gems are only nearing or at mid-life. The average elm provides over $200/year in annual benefits and have an appraised value of $15-$20K per tree. You could say that these trees are part of what makes Morden, well, Morden!
